Mission

To advance knowledge, foster talent, and provide comprehensive support to individuals, especially women and youth, to help them achieve their goals and make a positive impact on society. We strive to promote truth, charity, and reform, sustainable development and progress, and work to combat injustice, exploitation, and corruption, creating a more just and equitable society for all.


The Institute has three divisions: 1) Research Division, 2) Development Division, and 3) Training Division.

The main resource of the three divisions will be the knowledge and experience of people who have retired from active regular service.

Aims to advance knowledge generation, dissemination, and understanding in all possible disciplines, crossing over their boundaries and addressing complex problems and challenges.

The Research Division will undertake
  • Basic research which is fundamental and curiosity-driven.
  • Applied research which will be practical-based and solution-focused.
  • Translational research, which will transfer findings to practice and performance.
  • Interdisciplinary research integrating multiple disciplines.
  • Contract audits & research to conduct research on behalf of another organization, funded by the sponsoring organization to deliver specific audit reports, research outcomes, or results that will be commissioned by industry and other external organizations.
Jobs and functions the Research Division will
  • Conduct original research and investigations.
  • Develop and test new theories, models, and methodologies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Publish research findings in academic journals and books of MIRDT.
  • Disseminate research outputs through conferences, workshops, seminars, performances, ensembles, lec-dems, etc.
  • Co-operate and collaborate with similar institutes, laboratories, industries, governments, and other academic institutions.
  • Provide research training and mentorship to students and early career researchers.
  • Develop and maintain research infrastructure by securing funding through grants, contracts, partnerships, etc.

Aims to leverage all the collective knowledge, experience, and wisdom of the members of MIRDT to drive positive social change, promote sustainable development, and foster intergenerational learning.

The Development Division will
  • Undertake consulting services to organizations, governments, and individuals.
  • Provide a platform for members to share expertise, experience, and wisdom with younger generations.
  • Organize any activity that may improve the quality of life on Earth, leading to gross happiness.
  • Take up activities that will ensure social justice by empowering the marginalized and ensuring equal access to all resources on Earth.

The aim of the training institute is to provide skill-based training, knowledge sharing, and personal development opportunities to the young generation and aged individuals, enabling them to enhance their employability, entrepreneurship, and quality of life. Focus will be given to train the young generation for various competitive examinations, interviews, and physical training.

Objectives of the division are to give;
  • Vocational training: Offer vocational training programs for young individuals in areas like technology, entrepreneurship, and soft skills.
  • Life skills training: Provide life skills training for aged individuals to enhance their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • Knowledge sharing: Organize workshops, seminars, and lectures where retired officers and teachers can share their experiences, expertise, and wisdom with the younger generation.
  • Mentorship: Establish a mentorship program where retired officers, teachers, and professional trainers can guide and support young individuals in their personal and professional development.
  • Community engagement: Foster community engagement by organizing events, activities, and projects that promote social interaction, learning, and community service.
  • Preparatory training: To enable the youth to meet the challenges of various competitive examinations, interviews, and physical tests through online and offline classes, mock interviews by experts, and rigorous training by professionals.
Functions

  • Monitoring and reporting: Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of training programs to stakeholders, including learners, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.

  • 3. Knowledge dissemination: Centers will disseminate research findings and knowledge through publications, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  • 4. Collaborations and partnerships: Centers will foster collaborations and partnerships with local universities, industries, and organizations to advance research and training programs.
Mother institute-level functions
  • Strategic planning: The mother institute will develop a comprehensive strategic plan for the institute, including research and training initiatives.
  • Resource management: Manage resources, including funding, facilities, and personnel, to support research and training programs.
  • Monitoring and evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the progress of research and training programs to ensure effectiveness and impact.
  • Knowledge consolidation: Consolidate knowledge generated by all centers, creating a centralized repository of research findings, publications, and expertise.
Coordination and consolidation mechanisms
  • Regular meetings: Schedule regular meetings among center directors, researchers, and mother institute representatives to discuss progress, challenges, and future plans.
  • Online platforms: Establish online platforms for communication, knowledge sharing, and resource sharing among centers.
  • Annual reports: Require each center to submit annual reports outlining their research progress, training programs, and achievements.
  • Research workshops: Organize regular research workshops, conferences, or seminars to bring together researchers from all centers to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Joint research projects: Encourage and facilitate joint research projects among centers, leveraging their collective expertise and resources to tackle complex research problems.
